TRAINING
Soy docente y consultor de guion en diversas universidades, escuelas de cine y laboratorios de escritura. Además, llevo a cabo talleres de guion independientes, de nivel básico e intensivo.
Llevo casi diez años trabajando como consultor de guion de varias películas, entre ellas UTAMA (Bolivia) del director Alejandro Loayza Grisi, ganadora del Gran Premio del Jurado en el Festival de Cine de Sundance en 2022.
También en 2022, participé como miembro del comité de selección para el Fondo de Desarrollo Cinematográfico (FDC) del Concejo Nacional de las Artes y la Cultura en Cinematografía de Colombia (CNACC).
En la actualidad estoy realizando la consultoría de guion para los proyectos: DIAMANTE (Bolivia) de Yashira Jordán, CONDENADITOS (Bolivia) de Matisse González, LLAJUA (Bolivia) de Nakai Mirtembaun, LA REINA DE LOS SIETE DÍAS (Bolivia) de Diego Pino, HUÁCAR (Bolivia) de Miguel Nina, LUCRECIA (Chile) de Daniela Yob y KURINJI (India) de Payal Sethi.
Con Alejandro Loayza Grisi, en 2018, creamos el Taller de Guion ISLAB BOLIVIA, con el objetivo de fortalecer el trabajo de las y los guionistas bolivianos en sus primeras y segundas películas. Desde 2020, formo parte del equipo de asesores del Taller Internacional de Guion del BOLIVIA LAB.
I am a teacher and script consultant at various universities, film schools and writing laboratories. In addition, I conduct independent (basic and intensive level) screenwriting workshops.
I've been working as a script consultant for several films for almost ten years, including UTAMA (Bolivia) by director Alejandro Loayza Grisi, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival in 2022.
Also in 2022, I took part as member of the selection committee for the Cinematographic Development Fund (FDC) of the National Council of Arts and Culture in Cinematography of Colombia (CNACC).
I am currently I'm working as script consultant for the projects: DIAMOND (Bolivia) by Yashira Jordán, THE DAMNED (Bolivia) by Matisse González, HOT SAUCE (Bolivia) by Nakai Mirtenbaum, THE QUEEN OF THE SEVEN DAYS (Bolivia) by Diego Pino, HUÁSCAR (Bolivia) by Miguel Nina, LUCRECIA (Chile) by Daniela Yob and KURINJI (India) by Payal Sethi.
With Alejandro Loayza Grisi, in 2018, we created the ISLAB BOLIVIA Script Workshop, with the aim of strengthening the work of Bolivian screenwriters in their first and second features. Since 2020, I am part of the advisory team of the BOLIVIA LAB International Script Workshop.

Character Development Workshop
Taller intensivo, de seis sesiones, focalizado en la construcción de personajes y la evolución de su arco narrativo dentro de la historia. Se trabajan temas como la Ficha Inicial del Personaje, el desarrollo del Centro Emotivo del Personaje y la Transformación Interna del Personaje.
Intensive workshop of six sessions, focused con the development of characters and the evolution of their narrative arc within the story. Topics such as the initial File of the Character, the development of the Emotional Center of the Character and the Internal Transformation of the Character are worked on.

Taller introductorio a la escritura de guiones de ficción. Seis sesiones que abarcan la gestación de ideas, la elección del narrador, definición y alcance del conflicto, introducción a la construcción de personajes y las estructuras narrativas.
Introductory workshop for fiction feature scripts. Six sessions that cover the discovery of initial ideas, the choice of the narrator, definition and scope of the conflict, introduction to character development and narrative structures.
